I liked the motion in this pattern and saw it as a good chance to make a tiny dent in my scraps. It’s pretty big – almost bed sized. This quilt ended up with a friend a couple of states away who’d had surgery. Too far away for a visit or a hug, so this was my proxy. I think it looks cheerful.

It looks like there are circles in the design, but only straight lines. And only 4 different blocks: solid squares, half square triangles, 4 patch, and isosceles triangles.

But there are lots and lots of different colors. I tried to keep them crayon bright. The darkest ones are a rich purple.
