My sister-in-law-and-heart Jeannie wanted to make some quilts in memory of her dear friend and co-worker Julie. Julie was inspirational as a teacher and also in her fight against cancer. Jeannie had many of the T-shirts that creative Julie had designed for her students and friends. I made these two small quilts for Jeannie, using her ideas for placement and colors.

Jeannie has donated these quilts to the school where she and Julie taught together. The backs are both a soft gray minky fabric.
