This is another quilt where the back determined what to do on the front. I got this multi-colored license plate print at a big Project Linus workday last winter. It’s flannel and it is large enough for a quilt back for a medium sized boy. I tried to image a quilt top that wouldn’t make the quilt a busy mess and had to put it aside for a while.

After finishing some other projects, I came back to this. It needed a simple design with limited colors. I have greens galore and I wanted to use some of them. Gold and red were enough different colors. Just blocks in a brick pattern with a green border.
