My friend Rita is a fine quilter, so I was very pleased when she said she would like me to make a quilt for her newest grandbaby – her son Adam’s first child.  She picked out the border color and the backing and the style.  I chose lots of little squares the show her interests and things I know she would love to tell this little girl about when she is old enough – birds, flowers, Hawaii, whales, turtles, gardening, bridge, cake decorating and more.
