Susan Downing White is an artist who is friends with my sister Carol in Mobile ( pronounced “mow-BEEL”) Alabama.  I admire her work immensely and offered to trade a baby quilt for her grandson in exchange for a print of one of her paintings.  Here’s the painting I selected:  “Where We Cast Our Nets”.   Isn’t it wonderful?!

I know Susan likes dogs and sailing.  There are lots of other little-boy appropriate prints in the quilt.  Susan got a choice of backing fabrics and this is the one she selected.
