This is my second Fidget Quilt.  I made it for my friend Rita’s 96 year old mother.  It’s meant to go on her lap and has a flannel back to help it stay there.   The aids who help care for her say it needs more ‘activities’ and moving parts.  Rita also says her mother’s sense of touch is diminished and she can’t feel the difference in the fabrics that fringe the sides – velour, corduroy, silky, nubbed, coarse.  I’m still learning.
