Remembering Alice Rose

AliceRose1  2014

Alice Rose Landeck Sayre was Reid’s stepmother from 1987 to 2014.  The whole family loved her.  This is a memorial quilt made from some of her clothes for Jane Landeck Finn, Alice Rose’s daughter.  Alice Rose loved to wear pink and green and was exceedingly proud of her Irish heritage.

This is the back of the quilt.  There wasn’t enough of the Irish print left on the bolt, so I had to border it.

These are details.  Jane sent two pictures of Alice Rose and I added a lady golfer and the drama icons when I printed the fabric.
