2014

In 2012 we went to Hawaii with Rita and Wayne Rettinger.  I bought these beautiful Japanese fabrics at a quilt shop on Kauai.  After much searching back here in Raleigh, I found the gold and black batik at Sew Unique.   I had to learn to do free motion quilting with transparent thread to finish this.  I’m keeping this one.
