2009

I made this for my cousin Claire Cassel Harmon.  It’s the Kaleidoscope Pattern again, this time in green and floral fabrics.  Our grandmother loved flowers and grew lots of them.  Claire and I both remember her yard and flower beds and flowering trees and bushes.

The back of this quilt is actually some of the drapery fabric Jean’s friend Iris gave me.  It had been washed and dried successfully and felt like slightly heavy cotton.
