2006                                                         Our son Greg and his wife both love the mountains.  I wanted to make a quilt for their anniversary present and came up with this design of the mountains in the four seasons.  I bought a new Pfaff sewing maching during this quilt so I tried some of the fancy stitches and some free motion quilting.  The winter stars are machine stitched with metallic thread.

Since it is king size, It was pieced and quilted in 4 strips, then sewn together as described in Georgia Bonesteel’s Lap Quilting.
