My brother Jim was born in 1954 and our grandmother made this for him.  It’s the quilt I copied to make Tommy’s Farm Boy quilt.

It is a little strange to use pink on a boy’s quilt, but my grandmother was quite frugal.  If she had pink material, that’s what she would use.
