I was happy to help my friend Patsy Skinner plan a lay-out for a T-shirt quilt for one of her granddaughters.  And to give her tips for sewing the T-shirts.

1 – use lightweight interfacing, fuse before you trim to size.

2.  Be careful not to hit T-shirt designs with the hot iron – use a pressing cloth.

Patsy is an artist and an experienced quilter, so she sure didn’t’ need any help with colors or fabric selection.  She has other granddaughters, so she may be making more t-shirt quilts.  Next time she won’t need much help.
