We had finally started our first long vacation, two weeks in Hawaii, in May, before the Summer rush. We intended to spend a few days on each of the big island of Hawaii, Maui, and Kauai. The afternoon of our very first day, we went to Volcanoes National Park. It was pretty desolate, only a few folks around. Suddenly, someone calls Ann by her maiden name. It was her Aunt and Uncle! They were returning from a Friendship Force trip to New Zealand and stopped in Hawaii for a few days.<\/p>\n
