Ann grew up in a small county in South Georgia.

I was out at the airport one day chatting with a group of pilots, and one of them mentioned Ann’s small county. It turns out he was two years behind Ann in that small high school in the 1960s. There are 45 hangars at the little airport where I keep my airplane. At the time, his airplane was in the hangar next to mine.
