{"id":175,"date":"2019-04-30T17:56:10","date_gmt":"2019-04-30T21:56:10","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/sayre-nc.info\/annsrecipes\/?page_id=175"},"modified":"2019-10-11T16:36:59","modified_gmt":"2019-10-11T20:36:59","slug":"sunshine-lemon-pie","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/sayre-nc.info\/annsrecipes\/recipes\/desserts\/sunshine-lemon-pie\/","title":{"rendered":"Sunshine Lemon Pie"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>(adapted from Arizona Sunshine Lemon Pie)<\/p>\n<div class=\"ingredients-info\">\n<h2 class=\"section-title\">Ingredients<\/h2>\n<ol class=\"ingredient-groups\">\n<li class=\"ingredient-group\" style=\"list-style-type: none\">\n<ul class=\"ingredients\">\n<li class=\"ingredient\">1 or 1 &amp; 1\/2\u00a0 large lemon &#8211; peel &amp; pulp\u00a0 &#8211; everything but white pith &amp; seeds.<\/li>\n<li class=\"ingredient\">1 cup sugar<\/li>\n<li class=\"ingredient\">1\/2 cup melted butter<\/li>\n<li class=\"ingredient\">4 eggs<\/li>\n<li class=\"ingredient\">1 tsp vanilla<\/li>\n<li class=\"ingredient\">unbaked pie shell<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<ol class=\"ingredient-groups\">\n<li class=\"ingredient-group\" style=\"list-style-type: none\"><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/div>\n<aside class=\"native-recipe-ad ad-wrapper loaded\"><\/aside>\n<h2 class=\"section-title\">Preparation<\/h2>\n<ol class=\"preparation-groups\">\n<li class=\"preparation-group\" style=\"list-style-type: none\">\n<ol class=\"preparation-steps\">\n<li class=\"preparation-step\">Wash lemon.\u00a0 Use a potato peeler to remove a thin layer of peel with as little pith as possible. Save peel. Big pieces OK &#8211; they will be pulverized in blender.<\/li>\n<li class=\"preparation-step\">with a small sharp knife, remove pith ( white part)\u00a0 &#8211; like peeling an apple &#8211; and throw it away.<\/li>\n<li class=\"preparation-step\">cut lemon up enough to be sure you have removed all the seed.<\/li>\n<li class=\"preparation-step\">Put all ingredients ( except pie shell)\u00a0 in blender or food processor and blend for about 1 min till very smooth but it will be runny.
