Three Bean Salad

  • 15 oz can garbanzos ( chick peas ), rinsed and drained
  • 15 oz can red kidney beans, rinsed and drained
  • 16 oz can cut green beans, rinsed and drained
  • 1/2 cup sliced onion
  • 1/2 cup chopped green pepper
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 2/3 cup apple cider vinegar
  • 1/3 cup salad oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon ( or to taste ) freshly ground pepper

Combine all ingredients in a 3 quart bowl. Toss lightly. Cover. Chill overnight. Drain before serving.
