I wanted to make something small to practice my free motion quilting since I found Leah Day&#8217;s Free Motion Quilting project site.\u00a0 (http:\/\/freemotionquilting.blogspot.com\/p\/365-designs.html).\u00a0 And I did learn a lot!\u00a0 I used all grey fabrics, but some of them had designs so strong that free motion designs got lost in them.\u00a0 It&#8217;s hard to free motion quilt very close to the edges of the quilt.\u00a0 And practice definitely helps.\u00a0 Buying Leah&#8217;s book helped too, so I had a picture to keep by the sewing machine.\u00a0 I was using my iPad, but it kept timing out &amp; going to sleep.<\/p>\n<p>Here are some details. \u00a0\u00a0 All except one are from Leah Day.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<figure
