At the shower for Rita Rettinger’s first grandchild, I wanted to have a gift for Rita as well as for the baby, something she could keep at her house for the baby to play with.

I found a cute, almost new, baby doll at the flea market and made several outfits for her.  And this little quilt.  The hearts are actually pieced, not appliqued.  Idea from PATTERN PLAY by Doreen Speckmann.
