A friend gave me a bunch of 5″ squares that must have come from 2 charm packs.  They were mostly brown, green, gold and orange – colors I don’t use a lot.  So I tried to go outside my comfort zone and make something with them.  These colors are associated with spices. With that in mind, I came up with this design, using black and a wood-grain print for the background.
