Jean’s neighbor Iris let me pick some cotton fabric out of her leftovers from the shade/drapery company she had owned.  So when Iris moved to assisted living, Jean suggested I make something distinctive for Iris’  door.  This paper-pieced flower seemed just right and even used some of the fabric Iris had given me.
