When our niece and Goddaughter Megan Sayre married, I wanted to make her a wedding quilt. Megan picked out the pattern and the color scheme. Since she works at Spoonflower, she also designed the backing fabric and had it printed on 108″ wide cotton sateen for a truly custom quilt.
This was also a great excuse to finally take a course on using a long arm quilting machine and use one to do the actual quilting.
Hanging off our deck – maybe I needed helpers with longer/stronger arms!
Lots of drop on a queen size bed. ( This is in my house, not Megan’s.)
The lovely blue backing with Megan’s new monogram.
