My friend Sally Curtis gave me a bag of fabric and remnants with all kinds of animals on them.  They sat around for a while until I came up with a plan.  I am fascinated by the Gypsy Wife quilt and this is a hybrid.  I mostly used the African animals except for tigers which are actually Asian.  There are 71 animal squares of different sizes and it is 60 strips wide.

I entered it into the Woman’s Club Art Festival.  It won 1st locally and 2nd in the district.
