Jean and Bob moved to the mountains.  This is their housewarming present from me.  It’s the flying geese block, representing a mountain and sky in different seasons and different weather.  Lots of borders and a flannel back to make it extra warm.

For the first time I used printable fabric to get little pictures of their actual house, their dog Ernestine, and the view from their deck into the quilt.

One of the blocks has Bob riding his bike up the mountain.  So small I had to embroider it with regular sewing thread.

And of course there are bears.
